Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management
  • Maintain and update stock levels of spare parts, tools, and accessories.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for goods received and dispatched.
  • Procurement & Vendor Coordination
  • Raise purchase orders for required parts and materials.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.
  • Negotiate with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
  • Goods Receiving and Dispatching
  • Inspect incoming goods for damage or defects.
  • Verify quantity and specifications against purchase orders.
  • Issue parts to service department or customers as needed.
  • Stock Reconciliation
  • Match physical stock with system records regularly.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
  • ERP/System Management
  • Use dealership or store management software (like SAP, DMS, Tally, etc.) for inventory tracking and billing.
  • Maintain accurate records in the system.
  • Customer Support
  • Assist customers in locating and selecting the right parts or products.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Documentation
  • Maintain records of purchase invoices, delivery notes, and gate passes.
  • Prepare reports on stock status, fast-moving/slow-moving items, etc.
  • Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure proper storage of hazardous or sensitive materials.
  • Follow safety protocols and company policies.
  • Comply with audits, ISO standards, or manufacturer guidelines.

Coordination & Communication

  • Internal Coordination
  • Work closely with service advisors, workshop managers, and sales staff.
  • Provide real-time updates on part availability or delivery timelines.
  • Team Supervision
  • If in a senior role, supervise junior store assistants or helpers.
  • Delegate tasks and ensure smooth store operations.

  • Inventory software proficiency.

  • Communication and negotiation abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift
