Storage/Backup Administrator

Role Overview: As an Infoscion, you will be an integral part of the delivery team at Infosys. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure effective design, development, validation, and support activities to meet our clients' needs in the technology domain. You will play a crucial role in gathering requirements, understanding client specifications, and translating them into system requirements. Additionally, you will be involved in estimating work requirements, providing project estimations to Technology Leads and Project Managers, and contributing to building efficient programs and systems. Key Responsibilities: - Gather client requirements and translate them into system requirements - Assist in estimating work requirements for project estimations - Contribute to building efficient programs and systems - Play a key role in clients' digital transformation journey Qualification Required: - Knowledge of design principles and fundamentals of architecture - Understanding of performance engineering - Knowledge of quality processes and estimation techniques - Basic understanding of project domain - Ability to translate functional and nonfunctional requirements to systems requirements - Ability to design and code complex programs - Ability to write test cases and scenarios based on specifications - Good understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies - Awareness of latest technologies and trends - Logical thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to collaborate Company Additional Details: The preferred skills for this role include expertise in Backup (Commvault, EMC Networker), Storage (NAS, Netapp, SAN), and a strong foundation in technology administration related to backups.
