NTT DATA is looking to hire a talented and motivated L1 Cloud Engineer to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN). As an L1 cloud engineer, you should possess a strong understanding of cloud platforms, networking, and storage principles, particularly with a focus on Azure. Your responsibilities will include cloud administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks. You will be required to monitor cloud and infrastructure services to ensure smooth operations, as well as manage support tickets during assigned shifts for timely issue resolution. In this role, you will need to respond to alerts and incidents, escalating to higher-level support when necessary. You should be able to provide support at the L1 level during shift hours and have experience in updating knowledge base articles and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Additionally, you will be expected to request additional information from clients to accurately diagnose and resolve issues, as well as acknowledge and analyze client emails to provide clear guidance for issue resolution. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should have the ability to escalate complex issues to the internal L2 team and track the progress of these escalations to ensure prompt resolution. Experience in handling incidents, service requests, and change requests is essential. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service, along with excellent written and oral communication skills, is highly valued in this role. Basic qualifications for this position include a minimum of 2 years of overall operational experience, 2+ years of Azure/AWS experience, and 2+ years of experience working in a diverse cloud support environment in a 24*7 production support model. Preferred certifications include Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and a four-year BS/BA in Information Technology degree or equivalent experience.
