As a member of the Computing Systems Product Group at Cisco, you will be part of a global organization responsible for delivering innovative end-to-end solutions for configuring rack and blade servers in sophisticated data centers. You will contribute to enabling IT as a Service (ITaaS) and work with a dynamic team of top-tiered engineers and motivated junior engineers. Your role will involve collaborating with a fast-paced SQA team to deliver server management solutions for the Unified Computing System. In this position, you will have the opportunity to validate Cisco C-Series and S-Series Rack BMC, review customer found defects, and work towards resolving issues and improving product performance. Your responsibilities will include designing and validating customer use cases, debugging and solving issues, and implementing test cases based on industry specifications and hardware documentation. Automation of manual test cases, reviewing technical documentation, and contributing to test strategies will be key aspects of your role. To be successful in this role, you should have 10-15 years of proven experience, including leading a team of 5 to 8 people. Your expertise should include hands-on experience in server BMC validation, knowledge of CPU/memory/PCI subsystems, and familiarity with Intel/AMD server platforms, NVMe, and GPUs. Proficiency in system architecture, operating systems, and automation scripting will be essential. Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently are highly desirable qualities for this role. The minimum qualification for this position includes a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (CS/EE preferred) and 10+ years of experience in server platform validation and enterprise system testing. Preferred qualifications include a high level of understanding of AI compute server architecture.
