Job Context & Major Challenges Job Context The Cement Business of Aditya Birla Group is one of the largest in the country. The Grey cement business has total 12 integrated Plants and 12 grinding units and 5 bulk terminals in 2014. One Brown field integrated plant, 4 grinding units and 1 Bulk terminal are under construction. Indian Cement industry is forecasted for growth from present 272 MTPA capacity to 550 MTPA by 2020. In order to maintain Market share, our Cement business will also grow from 58.8 MTPA to at least 100 MTPA in the same period. The capacity addition is planned through brown field /Green field Projects. This will entail an investment of Rs. 4500 Crs per annum and concurrent execution of multiple Projects. Therefore Project Cell was established in 2010. This Position is part of the Project Cell. Major Challenges To ensure zero accident in the plant, develop risk assessment and re medial measures.
