As a Virtualization Engineer specializing in VMware virtualization technology, Compute Hardware, and Public Cloud, you will play a crucial role in the installation, support, and business continuity of virtualization server technologies globally. Your responsibilities will include administration, maintenance, configuration, and ongoing support of Virtual infrastructure. You will also be involved in supporting administration, maintenance, and configuration of Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS), HP, and Dell Blade Server infrastructures. Additionally, you will handle the installation, configuration, and maintenance of VMware vSphere technologies such as vCenter and ESXi. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing and administering VMware hosting environments and providing basic support, administration, configuration, and maintenance of Cloud assets in AWS and Azure. You must be prepared to resolve complex enterprise system hardware and hypervisor problems, collaborating with peer teams and vendors to coordinate solutions. In this role, you will be required to analyze system requirements in response to projects and resource management, recommending actions for performance tuning and capacity planning of existing systems. Developing and maintaining installation and configuration procedures will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be expected to manage ticket requests in the Virtualization Queue from the Service Desk Helpdesk system and follow Change Management guidelines for implementing upgrades or operational changes. Your additional responsibilities will involve virtualization system administrator experience, preferably in mid-Large Enterprise Level Data Centers. You should possess solid System Administration skills in VMware and Windows server, with experience supporting Vcenter/ESXi, including installation, implementation, performance monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting. A good understanding of HA, VMotion, and DRS Cluster environment is essential, along with basic Storage configuring of DataStores, RDMs, Storage policies, etc. Hands-on experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESXi server environment, bare metal virtualization (P2V), and Virtual machine to Virtual Machine (V2V) will be required. Furthermore, familiarity with Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), VMWare vSphere Power CLI Scripting and automation, and experience in configuration and troubleshooting of vSphere replication, vRealize Automation, Orchestration, SRM, and NSX will be advantageous. Basic understanding of Storage protocols, including NFS, iSCSI, Fiber Channel, SMB, Kubernetes/Tanzu, containers, Linux server products, and MS Windows server products is also desired. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in related roles. Preferred certifications include VCP. Excellent customer service skills, strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to work well in a collaborative environment, and excellent organization, problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking skills are essential for this position. You should be able to work both independently and in a team environment effectively.,
