Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Storage Administrator with hands-on expertise in SAN/NAS technologies and data center storage operations. The ideal candidate will have deep understanding and practical knowledge of enterprise-level storage systems, replication setup, and system health management.

Key Responsibilities

Allocate and deallocate storage on SAN/NAS (Hitachi, NetApp, IBM FlashSystem, HP3PAR, etc.).
Perform routine SAN/NAS health checks.
Administer Director Class SAN and perform system diagnostics.
Design and implement FC SAN fabrics with a strong understanding of FC and NAS protocols.
Monitor storage pool utilization and performance KPIs.
Monitor and respond to storage alerts (hardware and volume-related).
Conduct impact assessments for storage array maintenance, including upgrades and hardware replacements.
Collaborate with VMware and UNIX teams for multipathing validation and remediation.
Coordinate with Datacenter & Vendors for hardware installations and replacements.
Resolve SAN port alerts with corrective actions.
Manage SAN zoning (create, modify, add/delete zones as required).
Setup and maintain storage replication.
Liaise with Clients/OEMs/Vendors for critical issue resolutions.
