Job Title: Micro Setting Specialist (Metal Setting) Location: Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai Industry: Gems & Jewellery Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: Key Responsibilities: Perform micro setting of diamonds and gemstones with a high degree of accuracy. Set stones using various techniques including prong, bezel, pave, and channel settings . Ensure perfect alignment, uniform spacing, and secure placement of stones. Operate and maintain tools such as microscopes, gravers, and beading tools. Inspect and repair existing settings as needed. Work closely with the design and production teams to interpret CAD designs and technical drawings. Maintain high-quality standards and minimize stone loss or damage during the setting process. Ensure all safety and quality procedures are followed consistently. Requirements: 1015 years of experience in metal setting/micro setting in the jewellery industry. Strong expertise in handling precious and semi-precious stones . Exceptional hand-eye coordination and attention to fine detail. Familiarity with jewellery production workflows and quality control. Ability to work with precision tools and under magnification. Team player with good communication skills. Knowledge of CAD design interpretation is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Certification or training in jewellery manufacturing or stone setting. Experience with high-end, export-quality jewellery preferred.
