Job Description: Finance Manager Summary : We are seeking a Plant Finance Manager (CA) with 7 + years of experience in manufacturing finance and cost control. This role will oversee budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ensure the accuracy of financial statements in compliance with IND AS. The ideal candidate will drive cost optimization, standard costing, and working capital efficiency, while partnering closely with the Leadership and operations teams. Responsibilities include Capex planning, ROI analysis, MIS reporting, and implementing internal controls. Proficiency in SAP is crucial for managing cost accounting, production orders, and inventory valuation. The role also involves leading a small finance team, supporting audit compliance, and driving digitalization and automation of finance processes What you can look forward to in this role: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the plant operations. Monitor plant costs and provide actionable insights for cost optimization. Drive standard costing and variance reporting in line with corporate guidelines. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements in compliance with IND AS Implement robust internal controls and ensure adherence to internal audit requirements. Support Capex planning, ROI analysis, and productivity improvement initiatives. Drive working capital efficiency, including inventory and payables management. Timely preparation and presentation of financial and operational MIS to management. Provide cost analysis reports and highlight key performance indicators (KPIs). Leverage SAP for accurate cost accounting, production orders, and inventory valuation. Drive automation and digitalization of finance processes at the plant level. Lead and develop a small team of accountants and support staff at the plant. Ensure continuous training and upskilling on SAP, IND AS, and internal policies. Quarterly/Annual Audit and resolution of audit observations if any. Top Candidates for this position may also have: Experience in plant accounting. Exposure to ERP implementation or process automation is an added advantage Technical Skills (i.e.) Good understanding of SAP Sound knowledge of IND AS and Hands-on experience in costing, budgeting, MIS, and internal controls. Qualification and Experience: A certified Chartered Accountant – CA with a background in accounting and finance Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing plant finance with strong exposure to cost controlling.
