As a Calibration and Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for performing scheduled calibration of a variety of instruments including pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and more. You will diligently maintain calibration records in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines to ensure accuracy and reliability. It is essential to ensure traceability of calibration standards to national and international benchmarks by coordinating with external agencies for calibration of master instruments and retaining certificates. In addition to calibration activities, you will be involved in the routine maintenance and troubleshooting of process instruments and control systems in sterile environments such as autoclaves, HVAC systems, and SCADA/BMS. Your role will also encompass assisting in preventive maintenance tasks and supporting qualification and validation activities related to instrumentation. Your meticulous approach will be crucial in documenting all activities in compliance with GDP/cGMP standards. You will be responsible for maintaining instrument history cards, calibration schedules, deviation reports, and change control records to facilitate audit readiness for internal, external, and regulatory assessments. Moreover, you will contribute to project support and installation processes by assisting in the installation, commissioning, and qualification of new instruments and systems. You will also support the execution of engineering change controls specifically for instrumentation to ensure operational efficiency. Safety is paramount in your role, and you will adhere to safety protocols when working in sterile and hazardous areas. Participation in internal training sessions related to instrumentation and GMP practices will be essential to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field. Key Skills and Competencies: - Demonstrated proficiency in calibration procedures and instrumentation within sterile/injectable environments. - Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as USFDA, EU GMP, and WHO GMP. - Hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, and Building Management Systems (BMS). - Strong documentation and communication skills. - Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities. Qualifications: - Education: ITI/Diploma in Instrumentation. - Total Experience: 2-6 years in plant maintenance and calibration for sterile manufacturing plants. - Internal job applicants must have completed at least 2 years within their existing role.,
