Role & responsibilities Design laser-cut SMT stencils (prototype and production) based on PCB Gerber data and assembly requirements. Analyze PCB layouts and component footprints to determine optimal aperture shapes, reductions, and offsets . Modify designs to account for component density, paste type, and manufacturing tolerances. Utilize CAD/CAM tools (e.g., Altium, Valor, CAM350, GC-Prevue, AutoCAD , or equivalent) for data analysis and stencil creation. Stencil/Pallet/Fixture design Ensure all designs comply with IPC-7525 (Stencil Design Guidelines) and internal manufacturing standards.
