Role & responsibilities To own YBL's Vision, Values and Mission. Good understanding of stem cell research, including hiPSC derivation, characterization, and banking. Supporting the team in the required R&D and production activities for hiPSC derivatives. Contribute to the design, optimization, and validation of assays relevant to stem cell research. Good understanding of employing analytical techniques such as FACS, qPCR, ICC, and Western immunoblotting. Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebooks, experiment records and reports. Collaborate with senior team members to develop new protocols and improve existing methodologies. Utilize GraphPad software to analyze experimental data, generate plots, and perform statistical analyses. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency in adherence to established protocols and standards. Good understanding of GMP procedures. Inventory Management: Tracking of inventory including raw materials, packaging, and finished products. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of research efforts. Assist in laboratory management tasks, including inventory management, reagent preparation, and equipment maintenance cell banking etc. Flexible about working outside office hours or holidays for critical and time sensitive research and development tasks. Any other activities related to smooth functioning of YBL. Preferred candidate profile Master in any discipline of Life Sciences with a minimum of 2 years experience. Previous experience or coursework related to stem cell research and analytical techniques. Familiarity with data analysis software, particularly GraphPad Prism. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for data integrity. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications: M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Technology Experience: M.Sc. with minimum 1-3 years of experience in primary and secondary cell culture and molecular biology techniques . Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in: Human Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) culture Aseptic technique in cleanroom or GMP settings Nucleic acid isolation, PCR, RT-PCR, and flow cytometry Viral safety testing (e.g., NAT, mycoplasma, endotoxin,etc) Work Responsibilities: 1. Molecular Testing Independently perform DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, and nucleic acid testing (NAT) for viral safety and quality control. 3. Assist in Clinical Batch Preparation Thawing, formulation, labeling, and documentation for clinical-grade MSC doses. 4. Equipment and Cleanroom Maintenance – Routine cleaning, calibration, and monitoring of biosafety cabinets, CO incubators, centrifuges, and PCR machines. 5. Documentation and Compliance – Maintain laboratory notebooks, batch records, QC forms, and deviation logs with attention to traceability and audit readiness. 6. Training and Learning – Participate in ongoing skill development, internal audits, and cross-training activities. 7. Daily Reporting – Update lab records and report daily tasks to the designated stem cell lab in-charge.
