We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Accountant to manage financial reporting, reconciliation, and accounts payable/receivable functions, ensuring smooth operations and compliance within our growing stock broking firm. Job Summary: As an Accountant at StellarEdge Brokers, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will be responsible for reconciling brokerage accounts, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring smooth settlement processes. The ideal candidate has strong financial acumen, is detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced financial services environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including daily, monthly, and yearly reports. Reconcile brokerage accounts, cash balances, and identify financial discrepancies, resolving them in a timely manner. Ensure accuracy in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, supporting decision-making for internal stakeholders. Collaborate with other teams to verify the integrity of financial data and maintain financial controls. Provide support during audits by organizing and presenting financial documentation. 2. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee expense reimbursements efficiently. Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection from clients and traders, and resolving payment issues proactively. Maintain vendor relationships, ensuring timely payments and addressing discrepancies in a professional manner. Reconcile client balances, commissions, and brokerage fees, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date. Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity to support daily business operations and settlement processes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA or equivalent certification is preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a financial services or stock broking environment. Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliation processes, and managing accounts payable/receivable. Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced skills in Excel. In-depth knowledge of Indian taxation and financial regulations. Excellent communication skills, with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
