Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Steel Modeler based in Ahmedabad. The primary responsibilities of the Steel Modeler include creating and managing 3D models using Tekla software, developing structural steel detailing, producing accurate shop and fabrication drawings, and collaborating with project teams to ensure project requirements are met. The Steel Modeler will also review and interpret structural and architectural drawings and ensure project deliverables are completed on time with high precision.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Tekla software for 3D modeling and structural steel detailing
• Solid understanding of structural and architectural principles as they relate to steel fabrication
• Ability to produce accurate shop and fabrication drawings
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams
• Good analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of industry standards and codes relevant to structural detailing
• At least a diploma or degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline
• Previous experience in steel detailing, especially with Tekla software, is an advantage
