Safety Officer Qualification: BE/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering & Post Diploma in Industrial Safety (PDIS) Experience: Exp in EPC 3 to 5 yrs. & above Job Description: - Ensure all relevant HSE information are disseminated to all project staff & workmen about HSE Policy, Codes of practice for safe working at site. -Provision and ensure usage of IS standard personal protective equipment (PPE) at site & maintaining buffer stock at site. -Prepare & establish all statutory records /Legal Register as applicable for site specific. -Ensuring that all non-routine and potentially hazardous routine jobs are carried out under permit to work (PTW) site. -Carrying out regular site safety inspection and audits to quickly identify hazards& fix at site to avoid any untoward incidents. -Evaluation and compilation of HSE Statistics, performance status and the development of suggestions for necessary preventive measures. -Preparation MSRA or JSA as per site activity requirement and submitted to client for approval -Setting up of documents, safety procedures and precautions covering all aspect of company HSE activities and system to disseminate to all concerned. - Preparation of HSE Induction module site specific and HSE Training Matrix for staff & workmen on monthly basis & ensure provision of safety training at site. -Support of the site management in the implementation of the project specific HSE program site
