As an Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance at Exela, your primary responsibility will be to sustain the most cost-effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements while making recommendations for improvement when appropriate. You will be expected to review client QC requirements and ensure that quality control documentation for a project aligns with contractual requirements. Additionally, you will fully support and assist in maintaining the Change Management process, while also mentoring team members and peers on its use. Your role will require you to stay alert to trends and changes in quality-related issues throughout projects and report them promptly. Conducting internal audits to measure and assure adherence to established QA standards will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be managing all members of the quality assurance team, ensuring that deadlines are met, and providing training, coaching, and mentoring to QA staff and other department members as needed. Furthermore, you will be expected to cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices and corporate goals, vision, fostering an excellent workplace attitude. Your role will involve assisting in the production of generic and project-specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments, implementing preventive measures and corrective actions for issues reported by customers, and supporting QA activities in new ramps by delivering HoQ, Quality Assurance plan, and FMEA. To excel in this role, you should have the ability to identify and intervene in problem areas with well-developed problem-solving skills. Being Green Belt or Black Belt Certified, expertise in handling Minitab, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to undertake market research, planning and project management skills, interpretation of data and statistics, leadership and management skills, as well as familiarity with quality standards and processes will be key to your success in this position. Your responsibilities will include new hire orientation, onboarding, employee benefits administration, grievance management, and enforcement of company policies and practices. You will collaborate with local leadership to implement HR programs and initiatives that support the global HR strategy for the region. Your role will involve overseeing daily HR functions such as benefits administration, leave management, and policy enforcement to promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and integrity while addressing workplace challenges.
