As a Manager of Data Science at TCG Digital, you will be responsible for leading and managing the data science team. We are looking for a candidate with 3 to 5 years of experience and a Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Data Science from a reputable institute. Candidates with a background from tier 1 institutes or consultancy organizations are preferred. You should have experience in at least 2 full cycle data science projects, with a minimum of 3 years in data science and statistical analysis, along with a total of 4+ years of industry experience. Your role will involve developing new applications, maintaining existing ones, and applying a wide range of Machine Learning and Statistical techniques. Your expertise in predictive analytics solution design, data processing techniques, and hands-on implementation of machine learning algorithms will be crucial. Proficiency in Python/PySpark programming with data science libraries such as Numpy, Pandas, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow is required. Additionally, experience in using Excel for statistical and exploratory analysis is important. In this role, you will provide expert guidance to the team and project managers on domain-specific techniques in data science. You will own the data science solution design, roadmap, effort estimations, and reliability and performance of solutions. It will be your responsibility to build data science competency within the team, create frameworks for projects, and conduct training sessions.
