Job Profile To carry out the responsibilities of maintaining the plant equipments/ project/civil works To coordinate in various project activities in CMCD viz equipment data sheet review, design coordination with process engineering team,review P&IDs, technical bid comparison of various vendors, Follow up for ontime delivery of equipments, Ensuring erection and installation ontime, EHS norms adherence to complete project with zero LTI, Candidate preferably Pharma , Agro Chemical, Petro chemical Industries having through knowledge in batch processing industry. Role & responsibilities 1. Responsible for maintaining the plant equipments availabilty for process requirement. 2. Preparation and implementation of effective department working standards & procedures and ensure the compliance with Organizations Quality systems requirements. 3. Responsible for leading, motivating and guiding the team of Supervisors. 4. Carryout multidisciplinary role, working closely with colleagues across a number of functions, including operations, purchasing, safety, civil works. 5. Review the mechanical engineering standards, mechanical component design in Technical specifications and data sheets. 6. Preparation of concept note on Mechanical related project tasks. 7. Compare the technical offers and assess the technical competency rating as T1, T2 .... and appraise line management. 8. Expedite ontime delivery of the mechanical equipments, pipings,structurals as per BOQ and timelines and analyse the reason for the delay with justification. 9. Adequate experience mechanical project execution, project schedule preparation and adhering to time line of project activities. 10. Adequate knowledge in selection of capacities, type of utility equipments in coordination with process engineering team. 11. Hands on experience in handling various batch processing equipments like glass lined reactors, dryers, filters,pumps, distillation columns, pipings etc.,. 12. Assessing mechanical maintenance requirements and introduce the changes in design stage itself to avoid reworks. 13. Ensuring the appropriate work permits, JSA are in place before commencing of erection and installation activities. 11. Mechanical coordination in HAZOP, QRA, and risk assessment studies in similar projects. 14. Ensuring mechanical project related SOPs for rigging, scaffolding, welding, grinding etc are in place before the commencement of the project tasks. 15. Hands on experience in utlity operations like chillers, compressors, cooling towers etc., 16. Adequate knowledge in statutory requirments related to mechanical like PESO norms, Material handling equipment certification etc.... Preferred candidate profile Qualification : B.E Mechanical Engineering with 5-8yrs Diploma Mechanical Engineering with 10-15yrs Experience in a pharma,petrochemicals, chemicals, process plant maintenance and utility operations. Purpose of Position - Project Management including Quality Surveillance and Expediting as a part of Third party inspection of various items for various Projects. - The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy Major Responsibilities - Periodic inspection of portable tanks, tank container & Intermediate bulk containers, dry container, dry boxes and specials & CSC periodic inspection of dry boxes etc. In addition to above surveyor may require to carry out below assignment as directed by his supervisor depend upon the qualification and experience - Inspection of Pressure Vessels & components: (Filters, Boilers, Storage Tanks etc.) from raw material stage to final stage, as per different codes & standards like ASME Sec-VIII. Including Documents review like QAP, WPS, PQR, WPQR, material identification, applicable testing, stage-wise inspection of welding & fabrication like joint fit-up, welding inspection, NDT, components inspection, final inspection like leakage testing by hydraulic & pneumatic means etc. - Inspection of Piping: Piping inspection for Process plant, including activities like stage-wise inspection, components inspection, Dimensional, Spool inspection at fabricators site. - - Inspection of Pipes & Tubes: Inspection of ERW & SS pipes as per ASTM, IS and API standards. Including Raw-material stage to Final inspection i.e. review of documents, witness of strip & pipe U.T., Eddy-current testing, MPT, Hydro-test, mechanical test & other test requirements for black as well as galvanized pipes. Handled many projects of pipes inspection as per different grades. - Inspection of piping components like Flanges, Fittings, Valves, Pumps including various testing activities as per applicable piping code & product standard. - Inspection of Castings: Inspection of Critical jobs like Shafts & Roller assemblies, Gears, Mill Heads, with activities like Raw Material Identification, Applicable physical & chemical Testing, U.T. in proof machined condition, final inspection after machining, M.P.I., D.P.T. - Inspection of Steel structure for hydro power plants: Inspection of structural parts of hydropower projects like radial gates, spillway stop logs, surge shaft, trash racks etc M.P.I., D.P.T., and UT of parts. Also includes inspection of other structural parts like structural steel section, trusses, and towers. - Vendor Assessment: An audit activity on documentation & different aspects of quality control & quality assurance at vendor’s site, analysis of system of NC follow ups & effectiveness of implementation of QMS, product testing. Subsequent Vendor Rating on the basis of observations. Capacity assessment of manufacturing facilities of manufacturers for various clients. - - Project coordination & management: Preparation & implementation of inspection checklists, Preparation Inspection Report, release note and applicable documents as per BVIL Quality Manual/ Client requirement within BVIL scope of work, Project coordination & Management for inspection of bought out items and site inspections for various fabricated structural parts as and when required, Conduct inspection activities diligently & Impartially within the scope of work allotted by client /end user Record the results of inspection in the inspection report impartially

Experience in Sales & Marketing of Static Equipment for Oil & Gas (Heat Exchanger, Pressure Vessels, Columns & Reactors) Experience in leading and managing a team of at least 10 members.
