Key Responsibilities: 1. Conceptual Design Phase: Lead the mechanical static engineering efforts during the conceptual design phase for oil and gas projects. Define and review the scope of mechanical static equipment based on the project's process requirements and operational needs. Perform conceptual design studies for pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, and piping systems. Develop preliminary design layouts for mechanical static equipment, considering space constraints, ease of maintenance, and integration with other systems. Conduct initial feasibility studies, preliminary mechanical calculations, and equipment sizing. Collaborate with process engineers to define the mechanical requirements for static equipment based on the process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
