Role & responsibilities Perform linear, non-linear, thermal, modal, fatigue simulations using Simcenter 3D & NX Nastran Analyze axle boxes, braking systems , and other critical locomotive subsystems Create high-quality meshes (shells, solids, contacts) and run performance-efficient models Work closely with design teams using Siemens NX / CATIA Document and present simulation findings with actionable design feedback Preferred candidate profile 5 - 9 years hands-on experience in FEA using Simcenter 3D Strong knowledge of structural mechanics, fatigue, thermal-structural coupling Experience in rail/locomotive or heavy machinery domain Proficient in meshing, load applications, boundary conditions, post-processing Excellent written communication and reporting skills
