GENERAL SUMMARY The Financial Lines & Casualty Underwriter will be based at our newly set up office in GIFT City. To be part of the India Financial Lines & Casualty team to develop Financial Lines & Casualty business in India. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain and develop existing and new distribution channels. Handling Financial Lines and Casualty submissions from different distribution channels. Underwriting and risk analysis of submissions, quotations and placement. Marketing, visits & maintain relationship with producers, clients and promotes Starr coverages, products and services. Work closely with the team to grow the portfolio successfully and profitably. Handle certain admin functions; co-ordinate with policy admin team to ensure accuracy of work performed, including but not limited to policy issuance, premium booking & filing. Participating in external events when required as a representative of the company. Assist Local and Regional Heads with ad hoc projects.
