Job Title: Lighting Designer Location: JP Nagar, Bangalore Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Lighting Designer to develop and implement lighting plans for a wide range of environments, including architectural spaces, events, theatrical productions, and commercial projects. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, excellent technical knowledge of lighting systems, and the ability to translate concepts into captivating visual experiences. Key Responsibilities:  Design lighting concepts that enhance the visual impact of architectural spaces, events, or stage productions.  Create lighting plots, fixture layouts, and system specifications using CAD software and other design tools.  Collaborate with architects, set designers, event producers, or directors to understand and achieve project vision.  Program lighting consoles and coordinate equipment setup and operation during rehearsals, installations, or live events.  Conduct site visits, mockups, and lighting tests to ensure design feasibility and performance.  Manage technical requirements, budgets, and schedules for lighting installations.  Specify appropriate lighting equipment, control systems, and rigging solutions.  Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and sustainability practices.  Supervise or coordinate with lighting technicians and installation teams. Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Theatre, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.  Proven experience in lighting design for [theatre/architecture/live events/film—customize as needed].  Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Vectorworks, WYSIWYG, DIALux, or similar.  Experience with lighting control systems (e.g., ETC, GrandMA, DMX, DALI).  Strong understanding of color theory, light behavior, and photometrics.  Excellent communication, time management, and project coordination skills.  Ability to work both independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
