Job Description/Roles Design of Transfer fingers and all related elements in 3D using Catia-V5 Preparation of detailed 2D drawing using Catia-V5 Preparation of BOM for designs in standard formats Study 2D/3D Die Layout, Process plan, Die Design requirements in view of EOAT (Transfer Fingers) design and able to foresee potential interferences/collision issues Understand Stamping plant/press specific requirements and implement in design Understand application of various standard components from different suppliers Interact with different functions when needed like Transfer Simulation team, Die Engineers, Plant Engineers etc. Adherence to design timelines Identify/Implement continuous improvement opportunities in Transfer Tooling design activities Maintain QMS related documentation and data management Qualifications/Requirements B.E/B.Tech OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of related experience Strong CAD skills in CATIA V5 Experience in Tool design for Transfer press is preferred Experience in Transfer Simulation is an added advantage Strong knowledge in Transfer press, Interference curves and production environment Knowledge of Press work and Stamping process related to Body-in-white parts is desirable Fluent in English speaking. Able to Read/Write English Good communication skills Problem solving skills Able to deliver results under tight timelines
