Job Title: Conversational AI Engineer (Dialogflow CX | GenAI) Experience : 4 to 9 Years Employment Type: Full-Time (Permanent/Contract) Work Mode: Remote About the Role We are seeking a Conversational AI Engineer with hands-on experience in building intelligent, user-centric virtual agents using Dialogflow CX and Generative AI tools . This is a high impact role suited for individuals passionate about enhancing digital user interactions through cutting-edge AI-driven conversations. Key Responsibilities : Lead discovery workshops to gather business requirements, use cases, and virtual agent success criteria Build intelligent, engaging, and efficient virtual agents/chatbots using Dialogflow CX Implement advanced NLU/NLP logic (intents, entities, fallback handlers, data stores, etc.) Present chatbot prototypes and working agents to clients for review and QA feedback Integrate Playbooks, APIs, and backend systems to enable end-to-end conversational flows Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and developers to iterate on agent behavior Create wireframes, mockups, and conversation flows using industry best practices Ensure usability, accessibility, and scalability of virtual agent experiences Monitor performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives Must- Have Skills & Experience 3+ years of experience in Conversational AI development Strong hands-on experience with Dialogflow CX (including agents , flows , and generators ) Experience working with Playbooks and GenAI models (e.g., OpenAI/Gemini integrations ) Solid grasp of NLU/NLP fundamentals: intents, utterances, entities, context handling Programming proficiency in Python or Java for data/API integration Experience in deploying and supporting virtual agents for real-world use cases (internal or external) Familiarity with analytical tools such as Looker , Power BI , or Tableau Ability to present technical solutions to clients and resolve QA/feedback-related issues Nice-to-Have Experience with Generative AI fallback handling Knowledge of API gateway integrations and backend orchestration Understanding of conversational UX design principles Exposure to other chatbot platforms (e.g., Rasa, Lex, Microsoft Bot Framework) What Were Looking For Someone who loves creative problem-solving with AI Highly collaborative and confident in client-facing roles Detail-oriented, with a strong passion for conversational UX Self-starter with the ability to own end-to-end conversational workflows Apply Now If You Have Experience With: Dialogflow CX (Flows, Intents, Entities) Generative AI (OpenAI, Gemini, etc.) Conversational Design + API Integration Python/Java-based automation Delivering real-time virtual agent solutions How to Apply: Send Your CV to: careers@stamenssoftware.com
