Job Description Team Leader Installation (Doors and Frame /Windows/ Kitchen & Cabinetry - Industry) Position Title Installation _ Team Leader Department Projects & Installation Location [Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, and Hyderabad] Role Overview The Installation Team Leader will be responsible for managing end-to-end site execution activities related to door and automation system installations and customer interaction. This includes conducting precise site measurements, allocation task to installation supervisor and installer to on time completion of planned installation work, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The role requires a balance of technical expertise, people management skills, and strong customer orientation. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of door installers on job sites. Plan daily schedules, allocate tasks to supervisor and installer. Conduct quality checks and ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations. Communicate effectively with clients, HODs, and other stakholder on site and operations teams. Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with company standards, specifications, and health & safety protocols. Carry out thorough quality control (QC) checks at various stages of installation and at final handover. Provide on-site technical support and guidance to team members to resolve challenges and installation issues as they arise. Liaise with project managers, contractors, and customers to align expectations and ensure smooth execution. Maintain accurate records, including site reports, QC checklists, and measurement documentation. Identify process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of installation standards. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining a professional approach. Qualifications & Experience Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in installation or site supervision, preferably within the doors, windows, or construction industry. Strong knowledge of installation techniques, equipment, and tools. Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications. Proven experience in managing teams and coordinating site activities. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and supervisory skills. High attention to detail and focus on quality. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Customer-oriented mindset with professionalism under pressure. Flexibility to travel extensively to project sites. Key Attributes Integrity and accountability in all site-related activities. Safety-conscious with adherence to standards and procedures. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments.
