Job Summary We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer with experience in either mechanical or electrical design to join our team in Chennai. This role involves working closely with our Germany team to support product design, standardization, documentation, and data management. You will contribute to the development of high-quality products that meet industry standards and customer requirements. Roles and Responsibilities Mechanical Design Responsibilities: Convert 2D drawings into 3D models and generate accurate 3D views for documentation. Modify and manage CAD data using Siemens NX and maintain design records in Teamcenter . Coordinate with internal departments to align design requirements and resolve technical issues. Create and update Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP for production accuracy. Support R&D in analyzing and improving mechanical designs. Maintain organized design documentation using MS Office and ticketing systems. Electrical Design Responsibilities: Design wiring diagrams and device lists using Electrical CAD tools (Aucotec ELCAD / Engineering Base). Create and maintain standard design records for electromechanical products. Ensure part master data and material details are accurate in SAP . Support product changes, cost-saving initiatives, and documentation updates. Collaborate with global standardization teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Job Summary: Business Support Officers, will be responsible for supporting the sales and technical teams by learning the company's products, assisting in enquiry and offer management, and supporting vendor registration processes. The role requires a proactive individual with strong engineering fundamentals, negotiation skills, and proficiency in computer applications.Exposure to all platforms and products and services of CMCO . Roles And Responsibility Product Knowledge Development: - Learn and understand the technical specifications and applications of all products. - Participate in product training sessions and technical workshops. Enquiry & Offer Management Support: - Assist in handling customer enquiries and preparing technical/commercial offers. - Coordinate with internal teams for timely submission of quotations. Vendor Registration Support: - Help in preparing documentation for vendor registration. - Liaise with customers and internal departments to ensure compliance with registration requirements. Sales & Technical Coordination : - Support the sales team with technical input during customer interactions. - Maintain records of offers, enquiries, and follow-ups. Negotiation & Communication : - Assist in negotiations with vendors and customers under guidance. - Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Documentation & Reporting : - Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and presentations. - Ensure proper filing and tracking of all sales support activities. Visiting the Field / Partners : Learn from the Service dept, develop the Fault Resolution Process, learn the process of integration of our products in the OEM assembly Commercial Aspects: Learning and getting exposed to the commercial aspects of the business, stock audits, receivable follow up also part of the job Must be able to handle all products and services of the company after completing the probation period Ready to travel across India ( end customers , partners ) and also to the factories in Europe Must be willing to learn quickly, SAP , CRM software applicable on the job Note: The candidates will under go a probationary period of 6 month - 1 year based on the Performance and this position is basically groomed for future Business Managers position in CMCO India.
