You are a detail-oriented, hands-on Event Operations / Production Manager with 3-5 years of experience in event production and operations management. In this role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of live and virtual events. Your proactive nature, strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and passion for delivering seamless event experiences will be key to your success. You will be the linchpin between creative, production, and client servicing teams to ensure that all elements of an event come together on time, within budget, and with impact. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing production timelines, liaising with internal teams, vendors, venues, and clients, conducting site visits, creating run-of-show documents, supervising production setup and teardown, identifying and engaging vendors, negotiating contracts, managing budgets, coordinating with freelance staff, working closely with creative and client servicing teams, leading production teams and crew, ensuring compliance with regulations, securing permits and insurance, preparing production budgets, tracking expenses, providing post-event reports, and more. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in managing live, virtual, and hybrid events, a strong understanding of AV, lighting, rigging, and staging setups, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, a problem-solving mindset, proficiency in MS Office and event/project management tools, strong communication and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends. Your work will primarily focus on corporate events, entertainment, conferences & exhibitions, and weddings. This is a full-time position that requires you to work in person in Kochi.
