Staff/Principal Benchtop Validation Engineer

As a Staff/Principal Benchtop Validation Engineer at Micron Technology, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance and reliability of various electronic components used on DRAM Modules. Your expertise in electrical engineering and benchtop validation will play a crucial role in validating components such as PMICs, Clock Drivers, Register Clock Drivers, and Data Buffers. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential in executing the following key responsibilities: - Perform electrical, timing, and jitter measurements to validate component performance. - Execute I2C commands for device configuration and testing. - Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans, procedures, and reports. - Analyze test data, identify issues, and provide detailed reports on findings. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. - Maintain and calibrate test equipment as required. To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred. - 10+ years of experience in benchtop validation and High-Speed component validation. - In-depth knowledge of Clock Drivers, RCDs, and Data Buffers for DIMM Modules. - Proficiency in electrical, timing, and jitter measurements, as well as I2C communication. - Knowledge of scripting is preferred. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently.
