Staff/Principal Benchtop Validation Engineer

As a Staff/Principal Benchtop Validation Engineer at Micron Technology, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and reliability of various electronic components used on DRAM Modules. Your expertise in electrical engineering and benchtop validation will be instrumental in conducting measurements, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. By maintaining compliance with industry standards and best practices, you will contribute to the continuous innovation and advancement of memory and storage solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Perform electrical, timing, and jitter measurements to validate component performance. - Execute I2C commands for device configuration and testing purposes. - Develop, document, and update comprehensive test plans, procedures, and reports. - Analyze test data, identify issues, and provide detailed reports on findings. - Collaborate with design and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. - Maintain and calibrate test equipment as necessary. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred. - 10+ years of experience in benchtop validation with a Master's or Bachelor's degree. - Proficiency in Clock Drivers, RCDs, and Data Buffers for DIMM Modules. - Strong knowledge of electrical, timing, and jitter measurements, as well as I2C communication. - Familiarity with scripting is advantageous. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities. - Capacity to work independently with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
