About StaffingGo StaffingGo is an end-to-end workforce management and compliance platform, enabling enterprises to manage client contracts, employee onboarding-to-exit, payroll, statutory compliance, and client billing seamlessly. As part of our growing operations, we are looking for a Labour Law Compliance Advisor to strengthen our compliance function and support client requirements. Role Overview The Compliance Advisor will play a critical role in building and maintaining compliance registers , ensuring adherence to statutory requirements (including CLRA and Principal Employer obligations), and addressing client queries related to labour laws and compliance obligations. The role requires strong legal knowledge, hands-on expertise with HR/payroll processes, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and clients. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain labour law compliance registers (PF, ESI, Bonus, Overtime, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments, CLRA, etc.). Ensure compliance with the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970 , including: Registration & licensing of establishments and contractors. Maintenance of statutory registers and returns. Ensuring welfare measures for contract labour. Support Principal Employer compliance by: Assisting clients in fulfilling their statutory obligations as Principal Employer under CLRA and other labour laws. Monitoring contractors/vendors to ensure statutory adherence. Preparing compliance reports for client assurance and audits. Track changes in local, state, and national labour laws and update internal policies accordingly. Handle client queries related to compliance, statutory obligations, and audit requirements. Prepare and manage compliance documentation, filings, and returns within due timelines. Liaise with labour authorities, auditors, and clients to handle inspections, disputes, and legal notices. Provide compliance reports and dashboards for internal management and client assurance. Train internal teams on labour law requirements and compliance best practices. Skills & Competencies Required Strong knowledge of labour laws (local, state, and national) with expertise in CLRA & Principal Employer compliance . Understanding of HR, payroll, and workforce management systems . Analytical, detail-oriented, and process-driven. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills .
