As an Electrical Maintenance Manager, your primary responsibility will be to achieve electrical maintenance staffing objectives by recruiting, selecting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining employees. You will be expected to communicate job expectations, plan, monitor, evaluate, and review job contributions, as well as plan and review compensation actions while enforcing procedures and policies. To meet operational goals, you will provide information and recommendations for strategic planning and review, prepare and enact action plans, maintain production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. You will also be responsible for completing audits, identifying trends, recognizing problems, and determining appropriate system improvements and solutions. Supporting financial objectives will require you to forecast requirements, prepare budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and take effective corrective actions. Ensuring a stable electrical supply by maintaining equipment and outlets, including energy management systems for prototyping and assembly systems, lighting, and security apparatus, will be crucial. Your duties will also include providing power and connectivity to workstations and offices by studying blueprints, running electrical wiring for common and dedicated electrical outlets and fixtures, and providing raceways for telephone and fiber communications. Responding to service requests for mechanical and electrical problems to support engineering needs is also part of the role. Maintaining compliance with all applicable codes and regulations, advising senior management on requirements, and preserving equipment in good working order by following operating instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, keeping supplies on hand, performing preventive maintenance, and promptly scheduling repairs are key aspects of this position. To ensure your success, you should possess 5-10 years of progressively responsible electrical maintenance experience, electronics troubleshooting skills, experience in making staffing decisions, effective leadership ability, a demonstrably high level of technical understanding, budget development experience, equipment maintenance skills, safety program management and implementation experience, attention to detail, strong conceptual skills, demonstrated experience in supply management, including inventory control and procurement, as well as facilities management systems experience. Keeping your knowledge and skills current by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, networking, and engaging in professional organizations will also be essential for this role.,
