Staff Software Engineer - Compute Infrastructure

Role Overview: As a member of the compute infrastructure team at Rippling, you will be responsible for managing the application in both production and non-production environments, overseeing the CI pipeline infrastructure, and addressing the infrastructure needs of the product team. The team primarily works with a python monolith code base and utilizes home-grown tools and frameworks for tasks such as running background jobs, deployments, and cloud infrastructure management. You will have the opportunity to contribute at a framework level that will be utilized by developers. The team is geographically dispersed across the US and India, and uses tools such as AWS EKS & ECS, Python, Datadog, and terraform.
