Key Activities: Provide technical leadership and guidance to multiple development teams within the Platform and Application Development organization. Own the platform and application architecture, proposing and implementing architectural designs aligned with business requirements. Review, assess, test, and implement various architectures and design patterns, ensuring alignment with delivery teams. Develop hands-on software components as needed, contributing to the development lifecycle. Drive adoption of DevOps principles, with high degrees of automation for continuous integration, deployment, and operational monitoring. Engage with third-party providers to develop complete solutions complementing the company s product range. Ensure security, scalability, and performance are embedded into development processes and architectures. Measure and monitor solutions, reviewing operational metrics to validate their effectiveness in meeting customer needs. Key Accountabilities: Design, sustain, and enhance technical architecture for on-premises and cloud-based platform solutions and applications. Deliver flexible, loosely coupled systems and solutions with appropriate performance for business needs. Ensure development aligns with Agile/Lean principles, focusing on iterative learning and collaboration. Communicate and influence across the organization, including senior management and executive teams, to share insights and gather feedback. Drive adoption of security controls throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Lead the development of Secure Software Design and Architecture. Responsibilities: Align architectural designs with business priorities and justify technology choices. Assist in the adoption of modern data architectures, event-driven architectures, and real-time analytics integration. Maintain oversight of system reliability, scalability, and performance requirements. Qualifications Skills and Experience: Education requirements: Must possess at least a Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and/or Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent Knowledge: More than 12 years of experience in the IT industry including architect, lead developer, scrum master or team leader. Expertise in Secure Software Design and Architecture, including web security, identity/access management, and web application firewalls. Strong knowledge of public cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture Patterns, API platform design, and web-based applications. Key Metrics: Timely delivery of platform and application solutions aligned with business objectives. Adoption of DevOps principles, including CI/CD and operational monitoring.
