Staff Research Engineer - Machine Learning

Role Overview: Netradyne is seeking talented engineers to join their Analytics team, which focuses on building cutting-edge AI solutions for the transportation industry. As a machine learning software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and commercializing driver monitoring and driver assistance algorithms. You will have the opportunity to work with large datasets and deploy new algorithms into thousands of vehicles. The role involves innovating and developing proof of concept solutions to showcase novel capabilities. Tech or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering or a related area - Excellent programming skills in Python (required) and C++ (desired) - 7+ years of research or industry experience in computer vision and machine learning - Ability to turn abstract product concepts into reality - Hands-on experience in handling edge deployments targeting various HW platforms Desired Skills: - Experience with image, video, and time-series data - Proficiency in Camera calibration, multi-view geometry, 3D reconstruction, SLAM - Knowledge of SOTA multi-camera BEV and Occupancy prediction algorithms - Familiarity with road scene understanding (objects, lanes, intersections, signs, etc.) - Successful application of machine learning to real-world problems - Experience in conducting statistical experiments (Note: The additional details of the company were not explicitly provided in the job description),
