Staff Program/Project Manager

About our group:

Seagate Customer Success (CS) group is seeking a Staff Program/Project Manager. The CS group is responsible for creating an exceptional customer support experience with our Seagate products using Voice of the Customer feedback and active pre and post launch customer advocacy. CS provides best-in-class technical support to our customers and partners Sales to promote Seagate products and grow business.

About the role - you will:

. Manage the qualification of HDDs at OEM/CSP customers.
. Engage with Design Center teams to timely execute product qualifications.. Customer product qualification/Alignment. Product transitions/EOL schedule management.. Lead technical customer engagement internal/external communication and projects.. Customer tech issue study/debug and correct action management. . Actively work with Sales and Account Management (AM) teams to ensure right product delivery.. Customer quality issue analysis, work with internal FA team to understand the root cause, provide solution and closure path to customer.. Manager customer sentiment and provide the best customer experience.

About you:

. Knowledge of product development cycle and validation processes of storage device products
. Knowledge of storage devices for Enterprise Server, Storage. Including hardware, software, application.. Excel in teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills to work well in a cross-functional team.. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good technical writing and presentation skills. Good on issue analysis, 8D methodology. Self-motivated individual with a strong willingness to learn and grow

Your experience includes:

. Project management experience of Storage device or System products
. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering and/or equivalent. Knowledge in electrical, computer science, or related engineering technology. Language skill - fluent oral and written skills for communication and documentation in English

Your May Also Have:

. Knowledge of storage device interfaces, such as SATA, SAS, and PCI Express / NVMe
. Knowledge of HDD device at component level and technical theory. Knowledge about HDD specification, reliability rating and performance
