Staff Product Designer

As a Staff Product Designer at Stashfin, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional user experiences for our products. Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and fellow design team members, you will develop innovative and user-centered solutions that cater to our customers" needs. Your duties will involve conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and delivering high-quality UI designs while ensuring consistency across various platforms. Your success in this position will require a profound understanding of user behavior and a strong sense of empathy towards our users. - Lead UX Research: Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability tests, and competitive analysis to gain insights into user needs and pain points. - Design Strategy Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define design goals, create user personas, and outline product requirements. - Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop low and high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions. - UI Design: Utilize Figma to design visually appealing, intuitive, and consistent user interfaces aligning with product goals and brand guidelines. - User-Centered Design: Implement user-centered design principles throughout the product development process to ensure usability, engagement, and addressing user pain points. - Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate based on user feedback. - Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate translation of design concepts and troubleshoot implementation issues. - Design Reviews: Present design ideas to key stakeholders, incorporate feedback actively, and refine the final product iteratively. Qualifications Required: - 5-8 years of experience in product design or UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing consumer-facing products and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in UX research techniques like user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions. - Strong visual design skills to create engaging, functional, and accessible user interfaces aligned with business objectives and user needs. - Advanced proficiency in Figma for wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs. - Understanding of user-centered design principles and translating user insights into actionable design solutions. - Collaborative mindset working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, iterative environments. - Familiarity with agile development processes.
