Staff Nurse/Enrolled Nurse

As a Registered Nurse at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, you will have the opportunity to join the innovative team at Gartnavel General Hospital. Wards 2a, 6a, 6c, and 8c are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to provide high-quality, person-centered care to elderly patients. Your role will involve working in Elderly Orthopaedic Rehabilitation wards and Elderly rehabilitation wards, where you will treat patients holistically and support their overall well-being. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize a broad range of skills to provide holistic care to patients, considering their lifestyle, gender, and cultural background - Work collaboratively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of care are maintained - Develop skills in dementia, delirium, orthopaedics, and palliative care - Engage in dynamic discharge planning to support patients throughout and beyond their admission - Assess patient needs, plan and implement care based on evidence-based knowledge, and evaluate outcomes Qualifications Required: - Hold a live NMC UK pin - Demonstrate a commitment to personal development and continuous learning - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team - Interest in providing compassionate and patient-centered care If you are interested in this exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of elderly patients, please submit your application form as soon as possible.
