Job Summary

White Hospital, a community-focused hospital in Palode, is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team. The nurse will be responsible for patient care in OPD, casualty, ward, and assisting doctors in daily clinical activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to OPD, IPD, and casualty patients
• Monitor vital signs, maintain nursing charts, and update patient records
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergencies
• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids as prescribed
• Handle emergency cases in casualty (basic life support knowledge preferred)
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
• Coordinate with lab, pharmacy, and administrative staff
• Educate patients and bystanders on basic care and follow-up
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of nursing stations and equipment

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: GNM / BSc Nursing
• Registration: Valid Kerala Nursing Council Registration
• Experience:
• Freshers or
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred (hospital/clinic setting)
• Willingness to work in a rural hospital environment
• Ability to handle multiple roles responsibly

Skills Required

• Good clinical and observation skills
• Calm and confident in emergency situations
• Good communication with patients and staff
• Basic computer knowledge (preferred)
• Team-oriented and patient-friendly attitude
