Staff Nurse OT

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pre-operative Preparation:
• Preparing the operating room (OT) by ensuring proper sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Preparing the patient for surgery, including skin preparation and positioning.
• Assisting with the transfer of the patient to the OT.
• Ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
• Intra-operative Assistance:
• Assisting surgeons and the anesthesia team during the surgical procedure.
• Monitoring the patient's vital signs and reporting any changes to the surgical team.
• Maintaining a sterile field and ensuring proper handling of instruments and supplies.
• Documenting surgical procedures and patient information accurately.
• Post-operative Care:
• Assisting with the transfer of the patient to the recovery room.
• Providing postoperative care, including monitoring vital signs, pain management, and wound care.
• Ensuring the OT is cleaned and prepared for the next procedure.
• General Responsibilities:
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment in the OT.
• Adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• Communicating effectively with the surgical team and other healthcare professionals.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensuring all equipment is in working order and reporting any malfunctions.
• Maintaining an appropriate stock of supplies and medications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹41,681.52 per month
