About HCG:

1. Patient Care

• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and document observations.
  
• Administer medications, IV fluids, injections, and prescribed treatments accurately.
  
• Assist patients with daily activities (feeding, hygiene, mobility, etc.) as needed.
  
• Provide care to patients in

  ICU, OT, Ward, and BMT units

  as per their requirements.

2. Clinical Procedures

• Assist doctors during minor and major procedures.
  
• Prepare and maintain sterile instruments, equipment, and patient care areas.
  
• Change dressings, perform catheter care, and other routine procedures.
  
• Monitor and manage infusion pumps, oxygen therapy, and other medical devices.
  

3. Patient Monitoring & Reporting

• Observe patients for any changes in health status and report to the physician.
  
• Record patient history, medication details, and treatment progress.
  
• Alert doctors in case of emergencies or abnormal findings.
  

4. Patient Education & Support

• Educate patients and families about medications, treatment procedures, and post-discharge care.
  
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families.
  

5. Infection Control & Safety

• Follow standard infection control protocols and hygiene practices.
  
• Ensure patient safety during all procedures and monitor equipment use.
  
• Dispose of medical waste as per hospital guidelines.
  

6. Documentation & Administrative Tasks

• Maintain accurate patient records and charts.
  
• Document nursing interventions, observations, and care provided.
  
• Assist in preparing reports and coordinating with other healthcare staff.
  

7. Teamwork & Professional Development

• Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and other nurses for patient care.
  
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and continuing education.
  
• Mentor and guide junior nurses or trainees where required.
