Job Summary

ICU, CCU, or General Ward

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

Provide direct patient care in
ICU / CCU / General Ward
as assigned.
Monitor vital signs, patient symptoms, and clinical conditions and report any changes promptly.
Administer medications, IV infusions, injections, and treatments as per physician orders.
Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, and emergency interventions.
Maintain and operate medical equipment such as ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, etc. (for ICU / CCU).

Patient Management

Ensure safe handling, shifting, and positioning of patients.
Provide pre- and post-operative care when required.
Offer emotional and informational support to patients and families.
Maintain privacy, dignity, and patient rights at all times.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient files and electronic systems.
Follow hospital protocols, infection control guidelines, and quality standards.
Participate in audits, case reviews, and training programs.

Teamwork & Coordination

Coordinate with doctors, allied health professionals, and other nursing staff.
Support new or junior nurses through guidance and training.
Ensure smooth handover between shifts.

Required Qualifications

GNM / B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing
Valid Nursing Council Registration
Clinical experience in
ICU / CCU / Ward care
preferred
Knowledge of patient care standards, medical equipment, and emergency procedures
