Athena Medical Center, Calicut, is seeking a compassionate and responsible Staff Nurse to join our clinic. The role includes providing nursing care to patients, assisting doctors during consultations and procedures, monitoring vital signs, administering medications and injections as prescribed, maintaining patient records, and ensuring hygiene and safety standards. Candidates should have a GNM, ANM, or BSc Nursing qualification with valid Kerala Nursing Council registration and around 1 year of experience (candidates with strong practical knowledge and the ability to handle responsibilities independently may also apply; 1 year experience is not compulsory). Good communication skills, a caring attitude, and teamwork skills are essential.

Salary will be based on the candidate’s knowledge and previous experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in OPD and emergency situations
• Assist doctors during consultations and basic procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and maintain accurate nursing records
• Administer injections, medications, and first aid as prescribed
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards
• Educate patients and families on basic health and care instructions
• Maintain a caring and respectful attitude towards all patients

Requirements

• GNM / ANM / BSc Nursing qualification
• Valid Kerala Nursing Council registration
• Good communication and patient-handling skills
• Basic knowledge of clinical procedures and hygiene protocols
