Staff Nurse

1. Patient Care

• Provide direct nursing care to patients.
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient symptoms.
• Assist with daily activities like hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients.

2. Medication Administration

• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Observe for any side effects or reactions.
• Maintain accurate medication records.

3. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
• Report any changes in patient condition to the physician or nurse-in-charge.
• Ensure proper handover during shift changes.

4. Assisting Physicians and Medical Procedures

• Prepare patients and assist doctors during examinations or procedures.
• Carry out diagnostic tests and interpret basic results (e.g., blood sugar, ECG).

5. Infection Control and Hygiene

• Maintain cleanliness and a sterile environment.
• Follow protocols to prevent infection transmission (e.g., hand hygiene, PPE use).

6. Patient Education and Support

• Educate patients and their families about the illness, medications, post-discharge care.
• Offer emotional support to patients and relatives.

7. Emergency Response

• Respond quickly to medical emergencies (e.g., CPR, trauma cases).
• Be familiar with emergency codes and protocols.

8. Coordination and Communication

• Collaborate with doctors, allied health professionals, and other nurses.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments (e.g., labs, radiology).

9. Administrative Tasks

• Participate in ward management and resource maintenance.
• Follow institutional policies, rules, and safety guidelines.

10. Continuing Education and Professional Development

• Attend training sessions, workshops, and maintain licensure.
• Stay updated on medical advancements and nursing practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
