Job Description

We are looking for a Staff Integration Engineer to join Procore's Data, Technology & Security (DTS) team. In this role, you will need expertise in Java, Backend engineering, Microservice architecture, API, and middleware tools such as Camunda and Workato to ensure efficient, scalable, and reliable integrations. Experience in DevOps implementation for automated build, test, and deployment processes is also required. As a Staff Integration Engineer, you will collaborate with Salesforce, ERP/Billing systems teams on a day-to-day basis. This position reports to a Senior Manager, and we are seeking someone to join us immediately. Responsibilities: - Work with cross-functional teams to build integrations with Salesforce, third-party/ERP/Zuora Billing systems and ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, and ensure adherence to coding standards. - Optimize integration performance, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and monitor integration logs and metrics. - Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST, SOAP, and other APIs. Utilize middleware platforms like Camunda and Workato for complex integrations. - Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms, design and uplift CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes. Qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in Application Development and DevOps. - Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk) and proficiency in Java J2EE and SOQL/SOSL. - Experience with middleware platforms like Camunda and Workato, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines. - Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration and continuous deployment practices. - Expertise in cloud computing, scripting, automation, CI/CD, and security. - Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for packaging and deploying applications is preferred. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Education: Engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
