Staff Engineer, Software Development Engineering (Apps)

**Job Description** As a member of the Software Tools Team at Sandisk, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tools for SSD products. Your primary focus will be on developing in-house software tools used to interact with the SSDs and test their performance. You will need to understand technical specifications, such as protocol specs, and design and implement features in the tools. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop software tools for SSD products - Implement features in tools based on technical specifications - Test and optimize the performance of SSDs - Collaborate with team members to ensure tool functionality meets requirements **Qualifications** - BE / B Tech / ME / M Tech / MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering **Preferred Qualifications** - Prior experience with Windows driver development - Knowledge of Python Language or any other scripting language - Previous experience working with storage protocols (SCSI, ATA, and NVMe) **Required Skills/Experience** - 6-8 years of relevant experience - Proficiency in C++, STL/Boost programming - Strong understanding of data structures and design patterns - Experience with multi-threaded design and programming - Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues - Independent worker with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies **Company Information** Sandisk values diversity and believes in embracing it to achieve the best outcomes for employees, customers, and communities.
