Staff Engineer Design

In your new role you will:

• Understand the semiconductor development process and identify automation potential for the application of

  Machine Learning (ML)methodology

  , by conducting discussions with internal customers.
• Develop Machine Learning based methodologies in cooperation with internal experts as well as with Universities.
• Implement tool-flows to enable the development engineers to make use of

  AI / ML

  in their daily work without the need to become AI experts.
• Taking care for high quality of deliverables by actively testing and validating.
• Document the implemented tools.
• Support development engineers by the first use of ML methodology.

• A Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree.

Very solid knowledge of:

• Machine Learning

  with hands-on experience
• Electronic circuits, electro-mechanical systems and physics in general
• Excellent Programming skills in Matlab/Simulink,

  Python, C, C++,Java, Java script.

• Independent working style and at the same time as a team player have the ability to work on quite different tasks within the scope of artificial intelligence.
• Ability to discuss efficiently and understand the needs of our customers, who have quite diverse scientific backgrounds and work in different functions (designers, verification engineers, application engineers, technology developers, etc.)
• Be a very fast learner in the emerging fields of AI-based digitalization and automation
• Very good command of English language (German is also appreciated).
