Staff Applications Engineer

As an Applications Engineer at Lattice Semiconductor, you will be part of the Applications engineering organization, working in a dynamic team environment that encourages contribution, learning, and personal growth. Key Responsibilities: - Lead power estimation and correlation for FPGA silicon products throughout pre-to-post silicon stages - Scope and manage power-related projects across architecture to production silicon design phases - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set power targets, correlation and measurement plans, and achieve system and design level power objectives - Perform/support power estimation, analysis, and correlation activities for silicon IPs, sub-systems, and end-user applications - Ensure accurate silicon model modeling with the software team and measure power and performance goals using Radiant tool suite - Support Sales, Marketing, and Field Applications team in driving innovation and customer adoption - Assist in handling customer escalations and support tickets Qualifications Required: - Experience in pre-silicon power prediction and silicon power analysis - Knowledge of microelectronic circuit design, digital design, and hardware engineering - Familiarity with FPGA architecture, design flows, Verilog and/or VHDL - Hands-on lab experience in measurement, scopes, signal generation, etc. - Experience in silicon support, including design debug and documentation - Hands-on FPGA development experience - Familiarity with Prime Power or similar tool suites, signal and power integrity analysis, spice simulations - Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize effectively, and manage competing priorities As an Applications Engineer at Lattice Semiconductor, you will be part of the Applications engineering organization, working in a dynamic team environment that encourages contribution, learning, and personal growth.
