Staff Angular / FE Engineer

The Role:

We are looking for a seasoned Staff Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in Angular to join our product engineering team. As a senior individual contributor, you will lead the design and implementation of complex frontend systems that deliver seamless user experiences. You will be instrumental in shaping our frontend architecture, mentoring team members, and driving technology choices that align with our product and engineering goals. Proficiency in Web Application Framework Angular is mandatory.

You will:

• Architect and develop scalable, maintainable frontend applications using Angular.
• Own and drive key frontend initiatives from conception to production.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Lead code reviews, establish frontend coding standards, and ensure code quality across the team.
• Guide and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Stay current with frontend trends and advocate for best practices in performance, accessibility, and usability.
• Participate in architectural discussions and provide strategic input on frontend roadmap planning.

Experience:

• 8+ years of professional frontend development experience using modern software engineering processes.
• Proficient in JavaScript and Angular Framework.
• You think critically about your work and ask questions to improve the product, not only on its technical implementation but also on how well it's serving the users needs.
• Experience in designing and building component libraries or design systems.
• You have built performant and scalable apps, made pragmatic tradeoffs, and can point to your prior work.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• When things inevitably break, you eagerly jump in to diagnose and fix the core issues.
• Experience working in an early-stage startup is a huge plus.
