Department: Port BU Role: Technical Support Engineer Qualification : Diploma/ B.E. Location: Pune Age: 35 Max (With 10 + Years of Experience) To coordinate with the product support manager and provide technical support to the regional service team in their daily routine job activities for port machineries like Reach stacker, Material handler, empty container handler, forklift, RTG, and STS Cranes. 1) Field Support: a) Direct and coordinate with a team of product support & field support at HO Pune. b) Product support engineer to provide excellent customer service and to promote his idea throughout the organisation. Ensured to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention and to meet their expectations. c) To support field team whenever they seek part code, schematics, and manuals. d) To Support filed team remotely, for programming display and controller, Performing calibrations and other activities support. e) Coordinating with technical team, to arrange & provide solutions and SOP process to filed team for troubleshooting. f) Arranging part codes/ drawing from R&D as per field team requirement. g) If any critical issues found in field to be escalate to HO Technical team & BU, R&D, QA and production for further take up and needful solutions. h) Parts arrangement and coordination in emergency breakdown cases. i) To visit at site for field team support wherever required/applicable for commissioning, modifications and breakdown supports. j) Coordinated with product support team and part team for the parts planning for new products and review the parts stock of exiting products. Ensured to get the parts availability for A category (Filters & oils) -100%, B & C (Ware & tears parts) categories 90% and C & D Categories (Major aggregates) 80%. 2) Warehouse support: a) Extend support to warehouse team for parts Identification in terms of technically for GRN & Racking. b) Support field team for in case of Part wrong supply for checking and arranging correct part. c) Parts physical stock verification in case of field team seek support. d) Display and controller programming before material dispatch. e) Coordination with warehouse team for material dispatch material inspection, part confirmation and give instructions to warehouse for speedy delivery and other possible options in emergency cases. 3) Coordination with Plant Team Support: a) Test yard support wherever plant team seek in case of technical, program upload and calibrations. b) Repair and rework support in accidental machine repair case, coordination with plant team for machine restoration and support in parts billing. c) Support to production team in daily activities like - machine testing and urgent dispatches. d) Coordination & support PPC, SCM and marketing team wherever customers during customer visits at plant.

Quality assurance (QA) duties, including reporting product damage and shortages. Pallet building and pallet picks & Loads goods onto conveyer belts Required Candidate profile Drives sit-down and stand-up forklifts, and other industrial vehicles such as cherry-pickers and automated pallet jacks as needed

Location : Surat Basic Qualifications : Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 5 to 20 years of experience in an engineering, Consultant or construction company. Design experience of various conveyor for Bulk material handling system. Key Responsibilities : Preparing of FEED, feasibility reports, concept notes for bulk material handling systems Preparing process flow diagram, scheme and layout for material handling system of steel plant Preparing profile drawings, calculation and General Arrangement drawings for belt conveying system. Preparing Technical specifications for material handling equipment like Reclaimer, stacker, screen, crusher, feeder etc. Preparing BOQ or BOM for conveying system Design optimization in terms of costs, fabrication simplicity & safety. Detailed checking and approval of drawings for next procedure Lead the detailer or draftsman team for detail and fabrication drawings of material handling system Lead project for MH area and coordinate with inter discipline, vendor and client Attend the internal and client engineering review meeting Achieving the targets and improve competencies through mentoring and training. Excellent communication and co-ordination skills (both verbal and written) Technical Skills : Experienced Material Handling Engineer with following areas of expertise is essential. Complete knowledge of all major Material Handling Equipment such as Various types of Belt conveyors, Silos, hoppers, vibrating Feeders, Various types of Screens, Dust extraction systems, Trippers, Belt Feeder, Belt Weigher, Magnetic Separator, Bucket elevators etc. Should have functional knowledge and selection criteria of Reclaimer, Stackers, Barge Loaders, Barge Unloaders, Truck Loading/Unloading stations, Crushers, Pneumatic Conveying systems, Diverters , Slide gate valves, Lifting Devices( Hoist and EOT Cranes)etc. Experience in Material Handling System right from concept to final detailed Equipment layout preparation for complete Material Handling scope based on ITB/contract requirement. Preparation of concept note, Flow diagram, Conveyor design calculation, GA drawings and Specification, Technical bid analysis / offer evaluation, Technical Recommendation and Procurement Engineering of above Material Handling Equipment i.e. datasheet, Technical Specification, Technical bid analysis / offer evaluation, Technical Recommendation and Vendor Document Reviews. Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (IS/CEMA/ISO etc) Software knowledge of Conveyor belt design, 3D Model will be advantages Review and check engineer's sketches and designs to ensure feasibility and compliance with client specifications, industry standards, applicable regulations and any other specification on a particular project through coaching, mentoring and training. lead and co-ordinate effectively with all stakeholders such as internal disciplines, Clients and Vendors. Guide and motivate team members for achieving the targets and improve competencies through coaching, mentoring and training. Ability to work in a Team environment and capable of meeting deadlines. Self-initiator, motivator and have flexible approach. Flexibility to travel intra- and inter-continentally on project requirements.

Should be familiar with maintenance of MHE, Battery operated Forklift and diesel operated forklift. Familiar with Partial/Complete overhauling of MHE's including electrical/Electronic controllers/Hydraulic units. Required Candidate profile Should have very good alignment knowledge, good assembly ad disassembly skills of MHE equipment's.
