Should possess advanced expertise in geophysics with a deep understanding and working experience of seismic data analysis and inversion techniques to provide insights into subsurface reservoir properties. Adheres to RIL business plan with 100% compliance on HSE and core V&Bs of RIL. Seismic Inversion and reservoir characterization: Utilize cutting edge geophysical techniques and software for generating inversion products and attributes for characterizing reservoir; Identify Rock Physics Modelling (RPM) strategy, Generate RPM/RPT; Perform/review well to seismic tie & extract wavelets for seismic inversion; Perform fluid and lithology substitution; Perform cross plot and EI analysis; Select attribute for fluid/ lithology; Perform synthetic modelling - Prepare Zero-offset & offset Synthetics in both in-situ and what-if situations; Compare Synthetics with Seismic data; Identify processing requirements for seismic reservoir characterization; Provide inputs on Inversion strategy (post-stack, pre-stack, elastic, coloured, GI etc); Perform Seismic Inversion; Generate net to gross, porosity, lithology etc. volume as required; Generate AVO/DHI attributes; check consistency of attributes with RPM; Risk-uncertainty analysis of seismic inversion and reservoir characterization.
